i took home and poured it on my pancakes..
alhamdulillah.. i didnt had any diarrhea or vomitting
and my stomach is still intact! :p
so. i conclude. the overdue maple syrup is still good to use
i feel like jumping up and down my chairs
when i came across this maple syrup muffins recipe
why? coz i can use both overdue items in it!!
the oats & the maple syrup. ngeee....
and it uses only 1tbs of sugar!!

bahan2:
- 1/4 cup butter -- melted and cooled
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt <-- reduce to 1/2tsp if using salted butter
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup 1% low-fat milk
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
methods:
- Preheat oven to 375F (190C).
- Melt and cook butter. Add sugar. Mix well. Add oats.
- In a separate bowl mix: salt, flour, baking powder.
- Mix the butter mixture with the dry ingredients alternating with the milk and the maple syrup.
- Pour batter in muffins tin.
- Bake at 375F for 15 min.
the original recipe has frosting but i didnt make it
..because i want to feel healthy eating this muffins :p
so. i added 1/2cup of raisins in the batter
yep! another healthy breakfast for me & my friends :)
