apple clafoutis



1st time i came across clafoutis.. is in this book
i tried to search further & found in joyofbaking.com

clafoutis is a french pudding
originally, cherry is used but am using apple only
the only cheap imported fruits :p
might try to use canned peach later on..

equipment: blender & muffin pan (other baking pan can also be used)
level: super easy
time: 15mins prep, 25mins baking

materials:
  • 1cup milk
  • 1cup flour
  • 2eggs
  • 2tbs sugar <-- i use brown sugar
  • 1/2tsp vanilla
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 apples --> thinly sliced
method:
  1. preheat oven to 200C & grease baking dish with butter
  2. dump all materials except apples in blender & blend until smooth
  3. prepare apples and layer the apple slices in muffin tin
  4. pour the batter into the tin (apples will float)
  5. bake 25mins or until brown
  6. dust with icing sugar
serve warm with ice-cream or whipping cream..
i drizzled some with pancake syrup..

verdict:
nyumm2..
great for tea!

bleh ja rasanya.. as long as ada blade yg bleh hancurkan segala mak neka yg di sumbat masuk :p
